Depression

So often I’ve found that anxiety is also at the root of depression; that depression happens when we determine there’s no solution to the anxiety. What might be causing the neurotransmitter levels to be out of balance? Perhaps there aren’t enough strong connections. Let’s find out which area or areas of the nervous system aren’t as strong as they could be, strengthen THOSE – and see what happens to mood and neurotransmitters!  This therapy is particularly helpful if you’ve done your time with talk therapy, and have hit a plateau.

More than most problems, lifestyle issues contribute to feelings of depression, so we’ll talk briefly to see if a change in diet, exercise, sleep, etc might be helpful as well.
