It’s really a “use it or lose it” world! As we age, not only do we tend to move less, but we can afford more technology in our lives, which decreases not ONLY how much we move, but other sensory input as well! Automating everything from car windows to window blinds, brushing teeth, backing your car out of the garage, baking cakes and washing clothes all are missed opportunities to keep our unconscious nervous systems young.
